Built-in gutter system (Before)
Contractors tent to embellish their set of skills when speaking to customers. Especially when it comes to a project as complicated as a copper built-in gutter system. Which leads to a gutter system that supposed to last 50 plus years and failing within the first 10-15 years.
Built-in gutter system (during)
Water damage caused by lack of experience by previous contractor. Who chose to solder the copper gutter joints using a propane torch instead of using soldering irons to properly sweet each joint as indicated in the copper and common sense manual.
Built-in gutter system (after)
Newly install copper built-in gutter system using a high temperature ice and water barrier underlayment overlaid by a red rosin underlayment. All joints, outlets, seams and expansion joints soldered using heated irons.
